Pacific City, OR to Tillamook, OR
The road surface can be terrible. Obviously, it’s easier to thread your way through the ground heaves on a motorcycle. Also, pay attention when you get near Sand Lake. I crashed here once pulling off at the historical monument. (Marker B) I buried my front wheel in sand when I cut the corner. Classic fatigue induced mistake.
The last time I was out there was Aug 2011. The road north of Netarts was closed due to a slide. I circled around because I wanted to ride out on the Bayocean Pennisula.
