Drums
The pic is a little old. It was taken shortly after we moved into our house. The kit has grown and I’ve added more cymbals and a couple new snare drums. In any case, you get the picture.
The woman says I need a “drum intervention” I disagree. Keep in mind that I’ve been amassing drum gear for about 20 years.
I’m always searching for “that sound.” The focus of my quest for the last couple years has been the perfect china. Trashy, yet focused, with the perfect amount of decay. I found the Nano hats in a shop in upper Washington (Burlington?) on a run to Canada while looking for my mythical China. The woman knew is was all over when she heard me say, “Wow, that’s a cool sound!” She was smiling at me as I sheepishly walked towards her with the hats in my hand.

Gibraltar
- Gibraltar mini rack w/ extension and 2 cymbal mounts. Guitar Center was having their end of year blow outs. I found this little rack in the corner for $60. It had well over $60 in clamps, so I scored. The sales guy threw in the cymbal booms just to get rid of them. At first I didn’t know what I would do with them, but they work perfectly for holding my upper 2 Chinas. I am not complaining.
