Serenity

Damp mornings, a lingering cough, and late nights with my nose buried in a book, does not a rider make.
Loser.
Really? Have you seen the Portland forecast? I stil have a lingering cough and first thing in the morning I a left turn on 4 lane, busy street with a pair of double yellow lines. 4 strips of pain on a cold wet morning, when I am not at my best doesn’t seem liek a very bright thing to do. Still… I need to burn fuel to clear my head as my thoughts have been dominated by code snippets and data constructs.
Scored tix for Gigantour (Link) show on May 17th. Cool. Did I tell you I saw Queensryche (link) with Don Dokken (link) openning a few weeks ago? No? Sorry. Don was a little drunk and very funny. He played an acoustic set his greatest hits. It was nice. Friendly. Entertaining. I thought it was amusing that I knew every song. Queensryche rocked as always. I had a ragged voice when we left the hall. I’ve got tickets to see The Cult (Link: band’s site; wikipedia) later this month and Rush (link) in June.
I’m talking with some friends about getting back into D&D. Yes, I used to be one of those. Maybe a little different from ‘that’ norm, but I used to play D&D when I was a teenager.
