Well maybe…

So my dog died, one of my co-workers pissed me off beyond explaination the same day, and things skid back into hell for a while.

I am not sure where I am at beyond I am back on my bike. I have put a few hundred miles on the FJR over the last few weeks. Two Saturday’s ago, I changed the oil and put new tires on the bike, then I had to go for a spin. I almost ended up in jail, but I was going so fast when I passed the cop he didn’t even turn on his lights. Oregon passed a law last year that if you are going over 100 mph, the punishment is a suspended license for 30 days and a $1000 fine. It was a no-brainer as to whether I was going to linger to find out where the cop stood on this issue. 120 and I was gone in a heartbeat.

I rode this last weekend as well. Saturday, I went over to Fat Tire to look at a Rotec bike. It’s nice. Unfortunately, it’s raining here. So bombing the trails on it is out of the question for the time being. Sunday, I campted out in my apartment, unpacking, organizing, fixing a couple computers, blah, blah, blah.

I didn’t really sleep last night. I was awake, reading a book at 02:30. I napped for a bit then I was awake again at 04:30. At 05:00 I got up. I rode the FRJ into the office. The rain was light at home, medium at the office. I talked one of the early mornign guys into driving me over to McDonalds for some food. And here I am 7:40ish, SharePoint server docs open, and mildly awake.

So, I’m back. Sort of. I’m not sure how this is going to go. I am not 100% comfortable with the look-n-feel of this site. It works, but it isn’t exactly what I want. Then there is the whole diatribe of inner thoughts. At times it is better for everyone if I keep these things to myself.

So. There it is, typos and all.
