S’not funny
I was thrown off balance when my Kestrel was stolen. I had already been fighting a mild cold and after walking around the neighborhood in the rain, looking in ditches for said missing item, my cold exploded and I got an ear infection.
Nice. Tasty too.
That has kept me sidelined and disoriented. I try not to ride when I think my head might explode. Have you ever had a full-blown sneeze inside of a full-face helmet? Not a pretty sight. When the mucus splatters across your visor, you cannot see very well either.
Yeah. Nice visual that one. So.
Obviously, I have been staying home. I felt a bit better yesterday and rode down to my Mom’s to fix her DirecTV problems. She had the home theater turned to the wrong input. It was a 2-second fix. Talk about embarrassment. I cannot complain. I got an 80-mile ride on my YZF ride out of it. Today, I can still feel the antibiotic drag, but I can breathe and my head doesn’t feel like a stuffed pumpkin.
That’s a start.
PS:
I still miss my bike. ![]()
Hell. I miss my last girlfriend too, but that is history now and an entirely different matter in any case.
