The new K1200R. Is this really a BMW?

Is this really a BMW?

At a claimed output of 163 horsepower, BMW’s new K-series R bike is making a big splash. Being a subscriber to most of the moto/sportbike mags, I have seen quite a few of the teasers and inital reviews of this bike. Due in the States in June 2005, this new K bike is definitely not a classic BMW. Naked and nasty. Sounds like fun. Now if I could only swing the $15K to get one tricked out…
